Full Time Positions
Executive Director | Full TIME SALARY EXEMPT
Compensation: $72,500-$90,000 (based on experience), 2-bedroom apartment, 403b retirement contribution, $750 monthly medical stipend, 4 weeks of vacation, and moving allowance.
Camp Koinonia located in the heart of the Cascade Mountains offers various amenities and a Christ-centered environment for guests. The Executive Director is responsible for fostering a Christ-centered culture, serving as the chief administrator, supervising staff, and collaborating with the Board of Directors. The role involves acting as a spokesperson, maintaining the website, leading marketing campaigns, and cultivating relationships with churches and community organizations. Additionally, manages the camp’s finances, including a $1+ million budget, donor development, fundraising, and collaboration with grant writers while ensuring compliance with government regulations, safety standards, and ACA guidelines, as well as overseeing site maintenance and cleanliness. Works with the Board and staff to establish long-term strategic plans, defining ministry vision, staffing, and resource needs. Collaborating with the Program Director to develop and execute ministry programs, leading staff meetings, and ensuring alignment with budget and operational goals are essential duties.

FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR | FULL TIME SALARY EXEMPT
Compensation: $46,000 or $25.00 Per Hour | 403b retirement contribution, $500 monthly medical stipend, 4 weeks of vacation.
The Food Service Director manages the overall food-service operation of Camp Koinonia including purchasing, menu planning, preparation, dietary accommodations, service, sanitation, organization, personnel management, customer service, and record keeping. The Food Service Director supports and promotes the mission and ministry of Camp Koinonia, providing a place set apart for guests to experience hospitality and nourishment. Local Staff | Part Time Positions
housekeeper | $35.00 Per Hour
Our 111 acre camp has 12 cabin buildings, 2 large meeting spaces and several outbuildings that require regular maintenance. Resetting our camps requires hard working staff to clean sleeping spaces, bathrooms, and meeting areas. Housekeeping at Camp Koinonia is very sporadic with most shifts happening Mondays-Wednesday in our off-season Sept-May. In our summer months, resetting the camp for the next group, happens multiple times per week and general cleaning happens daily. Shifts will be 4-6 Hours Per Day, 1-3 days per week based on schedule. cook | $20-23 Per hour | part-Time | hourly | paid time off
The cook will plan a menu that serves large groups, keeping presentation, quantities, and health options. They will review our existing menu options and bring in new ideas and options that involve more scratch cooking while maintaining options that are tried and true. In addition they will research items to prepare for large groups while keeping dietary restrictions in mind and prepare the food with the assistance of coordinators and younger staff in the kitchen. SPRING BREAK PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR | STIPEND | APRIL 7-10, 2025
Teach and lead our specialized camp activities to 5th grade students including nature/ environmental education, teambuilding, arts & crafts, group games, and more. Experience in at least one program area is a plus but not required. Training is provided for all program areas. $500 for the week with opportunities for continued summer employment.
